- 'The Clos Prieur is a well situated vineyard just below the Grand Cru Mazis-Chambertin and is well known for its accessibility and easy going wines. Although the vineyard comprises a village and premier cru section (on the upper slope), the latter definitely displays much greater depth of fruit than the lower section and is worthy of premier cru status. This vineyard compliments Thierry’s winemaking to a tee.'

- ‘Les Beaux Bruns is one of the jewels of Chambolle. Sourced from a single half acre plot of 30 year old vines with clay over limestone, this is clearly a step up from the village Chambolle in terms of intensity, persistence and structure. As with all of Thierry’s wines, this is mostly in the red rather than black fruit spectrum, which results in a wine of finesse and delicacy. Excellent.'
