Sourced from a single vineyard in the Coal River Valley, Tasmania, hand-harvested and whole bunch fermented with native yeasts, this taut Chardonnay was fermented in a spherical concrete vessel and French oak barriques. The wine went under natural malolactic fermentation and sulphur was only added very late in the process.
This is a vibrant modern style of Chardonnay, perfectly balanced, with nothing out of place. Grapefruit, orange sherbet and oatmeal all work together here to make a complex, racy wine that will have you constantly looking to refill your glass.
