Planted in 1990, the Terre di Valfredda vineyard is naturally protected from the elements by the surrounding Dolomites. The highly-prized vineyard is made up of four small plots of clay and limestone soil that form a cone shape, the locals in the area call Valfredda or “cold valley.” Pinot Grigio can be a little soft at times so its known that using colder climates adds freshness and elegance which is personified in this wine.
