Hidden Gems of the Loire: A Masterclass with Sommelier Loic Avril

Underrated by many, the Loire Valley in France is a treasure trove of incredible wine. With the cost of Burgundy, Champagne, etc getting increasingly out of hand, those with the foresight have looked to the Loire, and are now shining a light on some true gems in an exciting range of styles.

We’re incredibly lucky to be working with esteemed Sommelier Loic Avril to host this Masterclass. Those who have met him are well aware of his incredible depth of knowledge and unrelenting passion for wine. He is not only the head of wine for the Lucas Group, but also imports a boutique selection of French wine from small producers, a selection of which you’ll be tasting and learning about. When we say ‘small producers’ we really mean it – only 60 bottles of one of these wines have been imported to the country.

This class is a rare opportunity to tap into a towering wealth of knowledge and taste some very limited and very delicious French wines.
