The 2022 Morgon Grand Cras comes from a parcel planted on alluvial soils and aged in a mix of 500-litre and regular barrels. This has excellent delineation on the nose and more precision than the Corcelette – focused and mineral driven. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiselled tannins, quite sapid in the mouth with harmonious, saline finish. This is pure class, but again, it will require time in the bottle
