“All hand harvested on March 18, 20, 23 & 26 of March 2019 from 2 sites in the Tamar Valley- the Moores Hill site on the Western side and the Swan Bay site on the eastern side of the river. The grapes are destemmed & crushed with a small amount of whole bunch (10%), cold soaked for 5 days then pressed into French Oak barrels (approx. 1/3 new) for 8 months.
A blend of clones and a warm year have combined to produce a juicy, generous wine with lots of fruit intensity- plum, cherry and blackberry. There is plenty of body and length with a crunchy acidity and a spicy oak touch. 13.5% alc.” – Producer’s note
