NEW ZEALAND PINOT NOIR MASTERCLASS – South Melbourne

“It’s staggering how quickly New Zealand has built a reputation for quality Pinot Noir.”
Ray Jordan

“New Zealand has emerged… as a source of some of the best alternatives to red Burgundy. Now is the time to build a lasting bond between New Zealand Pinot Noir and the world of wine.”
Tim Atkin

We are delighted to invite you to our exclusive New Zealand Pinot Noir Masterclass, a captivating journey that will delve into the distinctive styles and terroirs found across both the North and South Islands.

This masterclass is your passport to uncover the artistry of renowned producers, whose unwavering dedication, tireless craftsmanship, and profound connection to their land have propelled New Zealand to the forefront of global recognition for its captivating and enigmatic Pinot Noir.

Prepare to explore four pivotal regions, where we will examine wines that proudly bear the hallmarks of Burgundy’s greatness, infused with the exuberant essence of a New World approach to winemaking. From the breathtaking vistas of Central Otago, known for its intense and deeply coloured wines, to the highly esteemed and meticulously structured examples from the famed ‘Martinborough Terrace.’ We also showcase some of the hidden gems of the under-appreciated Marlborough region, as well as possibly the most exciting, emerging region in the south – North Canterbury.

We have a thoughtfully curated selection of cheeses from Cheese Culture and charcuterie sourced from La Central, a beloved local favourite.
