Southern Italy Masterclass
Southern Italy has long been one of the country’s most important winegrowing regions, with a viticultural history that dates back to the Ancient Greeks. Many of the indigenous grape varieties still cultivated in regions such as Campania, Puglia, and Basilicata can trace their origins to this era.
In recent years, like many parts of Italy, the south has experienced remarkable growth and a significant rise in wine quality—driven by increased investment and advancements in both viticultural and winemaking practices. The wines from this part of the country are as diverse as the landscape itself, and they continue to offer outstanding value compared to many of their northern counterparts.
Join us and Todd Slater, from specialist Italian importer Trembath & Taylor, for a journey of discovery through Southern Italy. We’ll explore a wide range of grape varieties from some of the region’s most exciting producers.
We hope you can join us!
