Terre a Terre Masterclass – Milsons Point

Situated just north of Coonawarra is the oft-glossed over region of Wrattonbully, a small but remarkable hub of quality grape growing and winemaking. It’s laden with deep red ‘terra rossa’ soils and fossil-filled limestone caves that lend remarkable character to the vines. 20 years ago Xavier & Lucy Bizot prowled the area in search of the ideal vineyard to establish themselves and make world-class wines. They settled on the Crayeres Vineyard, which exemplifies the uniqueness of the Wrattonbully region, with the addition of a unique section of sandy soils that have proved perfect for growing some of Australia’s finest sauvignon blanc.

Xavier and Lucy have consistently produced high quality, ageable wines under their Terre a Terre label, as well as DAOSA, one of Australia’s great sparkling wines from the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills.
We’re thrilled to have Xavier himself here at Le Pont to host an in-depth Masterclass to celebrate 20 years of the Crayeres vineyard, providing an opportunity to gain a true insight into the terroir and aging potential of each wine.
