Notes
The spectacularly beautiful Willamette Valley has long been considered the epicentre of the craft wine scene in Oregon. This will be a great opportunity to taste an array of wines from two of the regions pioneers and benchmark producers.
Join American Master Sommelier, importer and educator Jane Lopes on a journey to uncover the intricacies of Willamette Valley wine through the lens of two of its finest winemakers. The Eyrie Vineyards, founded in the late 1960’s was a pioneer of the fine wine landscape in Oregon and today still makes some of its most sought after and highly regarded wines. Montinore Estate – founded in 1982 – is one of the largest certified biodynamic winemaker’s in the United States and focuses on fine-boned, minimal-intervention cool climate varieties, especially Pinot Noir.
