On Tuesday 13 June we welcome Luca Scuri of fine wine importer and distributor, Saint Wine, to the store to guide us through seven wines from renowned McLaren Vale winery, Coates Wines.

With a masters degree in winemaking and one of only 500 people to have passed the coveted Master of Wine exam, Duane Coates is, by his own admission, a ‘heart over head’ winemaker.

Inclined to make wine from almost any interesting parcel of fruit made available to him, Duane tends to make accountants wince! For Duane, making great wine is not about business decisions; it’s about curiosity, passion, and a little bit of folly.
