With over 100 wine appellations and the most land under vine globally, Spain is one of the world’s most significant wine producing countries bested only in volume by Italy and France.

It would take a year’s worth of masterclasses to explore all of Spain’s wine regions so we’re going to start with seven including the iconic La Rioja, Priorat, Rías Baixas and Jerez, and a couple from those lesser-known. From traditional method sparkling through powerful, ageworthy reds to the fortified produced closer to Africa than Madrid, this masterclass will explore a cross-section of Spain’s most important regions, varieties and wine styles.
