Bordeaux Masterclass

Bordeaux is the engine room of French wine, its largest region and most recognisable name, and a complicated region to get your head around. Join us in the Le Pont Tasting room for a detailed exploration of France’s most famous wine area, sampling wines from the Left and Right Banks, plus some of the lesser-know satellite appellations.

We’ll taste ten (yes ten!) superb wines from the 2016 vintage, one of the finest in the past 2 decades and comprising the most famous appellations – think Paulliac, Saint-Emilion and Saint Julien – amongst others. We’ll endeavour to demysitfy this unique region through the lens of a great vintage by delving into Bordeaux’s fascinating history, the lay of the land, and its wealth of great vignerons many of which are today household names. If you’ve ever wanted to dive deep into Bordeaux, then this is your opportunity.
