Simon Harvey
Simon entered the world of wine without any great intent, taking on a casual job at a small bottleshop while studying Screenwriting at the Victorian College of Arts. Though he is still passionate about the film world, he quickly developed a great love for the world of wine and it quickly became his primary focus. Following several years of buying, selling, tasting, and studying wine - including completing his WSET3 Qualification during the height of Covid19 - he decided it was time to continue his passion at a new, more exciting venue. He came on-board as Assistant Manager at Le Pont - South Melbourne and after two years has taken over as Manager where he continues to develop strong relationships with regular customers and wine industry folk. His wine knowledge has grown substantially but he will always consider himself a student of the wine world!
