  • “Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the oldest, largest, and most qualitative of all the crus of the southern Rhône.” Jancis Robinson MW

Few wine regions command the reverence of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. As the Southern Rhône's most celebrated appellation, it has long been admired for producing wines of remarkable depth, complexity and longevity. From the region's famous galets roulés to its diverse array of permitted grape varieties, Châteauneuf-du-Pape offers a compelling expression of place unlike anywhere else in the wine world.

Join us as part of our Bastille Day series of Masterclasses, for a tasting dedicated to this iconic appellation. Through a carefully selected line-up of leading producers and benchmark wines, we will explore the history, terroir and winemaking traditions that have established Châteauneuf-du-Pape as one of France's great fine wine regions. Along the way, we'll examine the influence of site, variety and producer philosophy of the wines in the glass.

Whether you are an established Rhône enthusiast or looking to deepen your understanding of one of France's most important appellations, this promises to be an engaging and insightful tasting.

We hope you can join us!
