The 2021 vintage builds on Graetz’s vineyard-driven philosophy, sourcing fruit from old Sangiovese vines grown on rocky Tuscan slopes. Fermentation with wild yeasts and careful aging in French oak barrels allow the wine to develop complexity while retaining freshness. The wine shows bright red cherry, pomegranate and delicate spice with refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Compared to richer vintages, 2021 emphasises structure and precision. It remains expressive and elegant, demonstrating Graetz’s ability to capture both site character and vintage nuance in this signature Sangiovese.

Le Pont Wine Stores supports the responsible service of alcohol. Under Australian law, it is illegal for anyone under the age of eighteen to either order or receive alcohol. We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and, depending on your location, use the services of Fastway Couriers or Australia Post. For delivery to most Australian cities, please allow five working days and seven for rural and regional areas.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to hold your order until such time as the weather is favourable to transport it. We will contact you by telephone to arrange an alternative delivery time.
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $250. For orders under $250, shipping costs are calculated based on your location: a flat rate of $15 applies to deliveries within New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory, while a flat rate of $25 applies to Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
“I’ve ordered the wrong item”
If you have ordered the wrong item, please contact us to arrange a return. Return shipping for ordering the incorrect item will be at the expense of the customer. Le Pont Wine Stores will issue a full refund for the goods within 30 days.
“I’ve received the incorrect item”
If your order has been packed incorrectly by Le Pont Wine Stores and you receive the incorrect product in your shipment, please notify Le Pont Wine Stores strictly within 48 hours of receipt of the shipment. Le Pont Wine Stores will request that you return the incorrect items in the original carton. On receipt of the intact returned goods, and within 30 days, Le Pont Wine Stores will refund to you the amount for the incorrect item/s, plus the return shipping costs.
