Cascina delle Monache is one of the most exciting contemporary producers in Gavi where the indigenous grape Cortese reigns supreme.
This was the first wine produced by winemaker Tiziano in 2018. Sorì is a topographic term in the Piedmontese language used to describe a vineyard perfectly exposed to the midday sun. Made from 100% estate-grown Cortese, it represents a selection of the best vineyard material. The site faces south- west to west, with 30-year-old vines rooted in Cessola marls of Langhian origin interlayered with sandy strata. The grapes are hand-harvested in small crates, cold-macerated in concrete tanks for 12 hours, and gently pressed in a basket press. Fermentation takes place at cool temperatures in stainless steel, followed by five months of
élevage on fine lees.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to hold your order until such time as the weather is favourable to transport it. We will contact you by telephone to arrange an alternative delivery time.
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $250. For orders under $250, shipping costs are calculated based on your location: a flat rate of $15 applies to deliveries within New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory, while a flat rate of $25 applies to Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
“I’ve ordered the wrong item”
If you have ordered the wrong item, please contact us to arrange a return. Return shipping for ordering the incorrect item will be at the expense of the customer. Le Pont Wine Stores will issue a full refund for the goods within 30 days.
“I’ve received the incorrect item”
If your order has been packed incorrectly by Le Pont Wine Stores and you receive the incorrect product in your shipment, please notify Le Pont Wine Stores strictly within 48 hours of receipt of the shipment. Le Pont Wine Stores will request that you return the incorrect items in the original carton. On receipt of the intact returned goods, and within 30 days, Le Pont Wine Stores will refund to you the amount for the incorrect item/s, plus the return shipping costs.
