Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, the estate has grown into one of the most influential domaines in the Rhône, spanning some of its most distinguished vineyard sites. Under the direction of Marcel Guigal and now Philippe Guigal, the house has built a reputation for wines that combine depth, structure and remarkable consistency across vintages.
The estate is based at the historic Château d'Ampuis, where Guigal’s in-house cooperage allows precise control over barrel selection and maturation.
