Fontodi has long been regarded as one of Chianti Classico’s benchmark estates, producing structured, site-driven wines that capture the character of Panzano’s famed Conca d’Oro (Chianti Classico’s ‘Golden basin’). Under the direction of Bernardo Manetti, son of owner Giovanni Manetti, the estate has focused on organic farming and meticulous vineyard work, with a clear emphasis on pure expressions of Sangiovese situated on galestro-rich soils across its key sites.
Join us and Bernardo, as he presents a selection of current releases from Fontodi, including the estate’s flagship wines. This will offer a detailed insight into the vineyards, winemaking approach, history and evolution of the estate, alongside Bernardo’s perspective as one of the region’s leading voices.
